Join Colleen for a day exploring your creativity working with the sacred element of water, together with mineral paint, on synthetic paper.
Colleen will guide our journey as we reach within to hear our creative voice become awakened in a more authentic, grounded, and freer (maybe unblocked) process.
-
Watercolour brushes if you have them, fully charged cell phone.
A packed lunch and a water bottle as we are not providing lunch.

Colleen will encourage people to be verbally engaging and open to discussing the discomfort we sometimes feel - we would examine and unpack why this could be a barrier to someone's creative flow. She will share her own path and understanding about how to connect with spirit through art and why it is an important part of her own creative process. All this discussion may have an impact on the creativity being experienced in real time. Water is sacred, but it is also an emotional conductor and we are working with water at every turn throughout this exercise. Water can be a carrier for our bottled up emotions and in the creative process, people sometimes find it to be an emotional outlet - this is all very normal and very welcomed.
At the end of the day, participants may leave feeling more connected to themselves as creators and as humans having a spiritual experience through art, but at the minimum, the hope is that each person takes away something valuable from the experience that benefits their art
